In this 2 hour workshop we will explore what Somatic Yoga is, how it helps to unwind chronically held tension in the body through ‘Pandiculation’ and ‘Kinetic Mirroring’, you will walk away with several Gentle Somatic Movement Flows (SMF’s) to do at home.
Gentle Somatic Yoga is an exploration of movement that is revolutionary in its ability to improve health, well-being, quality of life and personal performance.
This healing practice incorporates slow, mindful movements that raise body awareness to heal persistent tension-based patterns in the body.
Corrective exercises, called Somatic Movement Flows, are ideal for overcoming pain and increasing ﬂexibility through the healing power of brain to muscle awareness and re-education
